1. Scope
This Policy applies to Vintra websites, mobile applications, marketplace features, support channels, and related services that link to it. Third-party services such as Stripe, EasyPost, carriers, identity providers, app stores, and linked websites operate under their own privacy notices.
2. Information we collect
- Account and profile: name, handle, email, phone where provided, avatar, bio, campus or community, preferences, verification and account status.
- Seller and compliance: application details, business or tax information, payout status, identity-verification results, sanctions or fraud-review signals, and related communications. Identity documents may be collected directly by a provider rather than stored by Vintra.
- Marketplace content: listings, photos, descriptions, prices, offers, storefronts, follows, saves, reviews, reports, messages, and support submissions.
- Transactions: cart, checkout, payment status, refunds, disputes, payouts, taxes, ledger entries, order events, and fraud-prevention information. Vintra does not receive full payment-card numbers from Stripe.
- Shipping: names, addresses, parcel dimensions and weight, selected service, label and tracking identifiers, carrier events, delivery status, and shipping-support records.
- Device and usage: IP address, browser and device type, operating system, app version, identifiers, logs, session activity, approximate location derived from IP, referral and campaign data, and interactions with features.
- Communications and preferences: support requests, notices, survey responses, notification choices, and marketing consent or unsubscribe status.
3. Sources of information
We receive information from you; other users who transact or communicate with you; devices and browsers; Stripe and other payment or verification providers; EasyPost and carriers; authentication providers; analytics, security, and communications vendors; and public or legally available sources used for fraud, safety, compliance, or rights enforcement.
4. How we use information
We use information to create and secure accounts; personalize discovery; operate listings, offers, payments, payouts, shipping, refunds, and disputes; provide support; communicate transactional notices; prevent fraud and abuse; enforce policies; moderate content; comply with tax, accounting, sanctions, consumer-protection, and other legal requirements; maintain records; measure and improve performance; and send optional marketing where permitted.
6. Shipping information
Vintra launches with shipping, not local pickup. After purchase, information needed to fulfill the order may be made available to the seller, EasyPost, and participating carriers. This can include the buyer’s name and delivery address and the seller’s return address. Shipping providers may use data to validate addresses, quote rates, create and purchase labels, provide tracking, prevent fraud, support claims, and comply with law.
8. Retention
Retention depends on the data and purpose. Account data may be kept while an account is active. Transaction, payout, tax, dispute, fraud, safety, and legal records may be retained after deletion where needed to complete transactions, meet legal obligations, prevent abuse, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, or establish legal claims. Content may remain in backups for a limited period before deletion or isolation.
9. Security
Vintra uses administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including access controls, encrypted transport, provider-managed payment data, authentication controls, logging, and restricted administrative access. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure. Use a unique password and report suspected compromise promptly.
10. Choices and privacy rights
Users may update certain account information, control notifications, unsubscribe from marketing, request account deletion, or contact Vintra to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or appeal where applicable. Rights and exceptions vary by jurisdiction. Vintra may verify identity before fulfilling a request and may retain information where legally permitted or required.
11. Children
The marketplace is intended for adults 18 and older and is not directed to children under 13. Vintra does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact support if you believe a child has provided personal information.
12. United States service and international transfers
Vintra is preparing for a United States launch. Information may be processed in the United States and in other locations where providers operate. If Vintra begins operating in a region that requires additional notices, transfer mechanisms, or regional terms, this Policy will be updated to include them before that expansion happens.
13. Changes and contact
Changes will be posted with an updated effective date. Material changes may also be communicated in the app or by email when required.
Privacy requests and questions may be sent to [email protected]. Privacy requests, appeals, and authorized-agent requests can be sent to [email protected] and are handled within the timeframes required by applicable law.
