Yes. Vintra is an iPhone app and it is free to download. There is no Android app and no web checkout at launch. The App Store listing is not live yet, so join early access and we will send the link the moment it is.
September 1, 2026. Early access invitations go out as communities come online, so get on the list now if you want yours in the first batch.
Nothing. Sellers pay 0%. No listing fee, no selling fee, no commission. List a jacket at $60 and you keep $60. Payment processing is added to the buyer’s total instead of being deducted from your payout, which is how the seller keeps 100% of the item price. See the full fee breakdown.
Four things: the item price, the actual calculated shipping for that parcel, applicable tax, and payment processing. Every line is itemized before you confirm the order. There is no separate Vintra marketplace fee on top.
Selling is by application. Send in the seller application and we review it for fit. If you are approved, you complete identity and payout onboarding through Stripe before your first sale. Buying needs no application, only an account.
Vintra is not a change-of-mind return service. If an order arrives damaged, arrives materially different from the listing, or never arrives at all, report it: within 3 days of the carrier-confirmed delivery date, or within 30 days of the expected delivery date for a parcel that never showed up. Report it from the order or through the support form, keep the item and the packaging, and we review the record. The full rules are in the refund policy.
Payouts run through Stripe to the bank account you connect during onboarding. Proceeds are released once the order is complete, meaning the item is delivered and the buyer’s 3-day window to report a problem has passed. After that, posting time is up to Stripe and your bank.
Every launch order ships. The buyer sees calculated shipping at checkout and pays it. The seller gets the label attached to the order and uses that label. Carrier tracking stays connected to the transaction, so the buyer, the seller, and support all read the same record. Labels and tracking run on EasyPost.
No. Vintra ships only at launch. Local pickup and in-person handoffs are not part of the September 1, 2026 release.
No. Vintra is open to anyone 18 or older. We are starting with college communities because closets and word of mouth move fast there, but there is no student email requirement, and Vintra is independent and not affiliated with any school or university.
Eighteen. Buying and selling both require you to be at least 18 years old.
No. Vintra does not inspect, photograph, or authenticate anything. Sellers describe their own pieces and ship them straight to buyers. What Vintra does is keep the listing, the messages, the payment, and the tracking in one record, so if something arrives wrong you can report it within 3 days of delivery and we have the evidence to review it.
UC San Diego, on September 1, 2026. That is the only campus opening at launch. More follow through the 2026–27 school year, and each one is announced when it is actually opening — you will not find a list of schools here that has not been decided. Buying is open to anyone 18 or over anywhere in the US, student or not. Vintra is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any school or university.
